United Netherlands is proud to present the 22nd Board! It is an honour to have been appointed, and we’re excited for the year ahead.
Our 22nd Board:
President: Isaac O’Donovan Campbell
Vice President, Program Manager & UNMD Executive: Lizzie Stokowy
Academic Manager & Internal Relations Manager: Yara Janssen
External Relations Manager & PSP Executive: Daniel Lobo
Events Manager & MUN Executive: Parker Winkel
Financial Manager & High School Programme Executive: Sarah Jones.

Meet our President
Isaac is the President of United Netherlands. In this role, he is responsible for representing the organisation, guides its strategic direction and development, and supports the team in achieving their goals. A former member of the 22nd Delegation, Isaac studies Psychology at Radboud University and is taking a Minor in Conflict Studies at Utrecht University. He is deeply passionate about diplomacy, foreign affairs, and understating the complexities of human behaviour. Outside of UNL, Isaac has a passion for history, stays up to date with global affairs, and enjoys travelling whenever possible.

Meet our Events Manager
Parker is the Events Manager and MUN Executive on this year’s board. As Events Manager, he coordinates United Netherlands’ participation in OxIMUN and HNMUN. As MUN Executive, he is also responsible for internal Model UN sessions. A member of the 23rd Delegation, he draws on his experience to support new Delegates in honing their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking. Parker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Radboud University and is currently pursuing a joint Master’s in Public Policy and Human Development at Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT. In his downtime, Parker enjoys cycling, painting, and adding to his ever-growing collection of 2,000+ cat drawings gathered from friends, colleagues, and sometimes total strangers.

Meet our Financial Manager
Sarah is this year’s Financial Manager and High School Programme Executive. As Financial Manager, she oversees the organisation’s budget. In her role as High School Programme Executive, she coordinates with trainers and schools to deliver high-quality learning experiences to secondary students across the Netherlands. With a background in Business Analytics, Sarah brings a structured and analytical approach to her work. Outside of UNL, she enjoys playing basketball and, thanks to the weekly commute between Amsterdam and Nijmegen, has developed a love/hate relationship with driving.

Meet our External Relations Manager
Daniel is the External Relations Manager and PSP Executive of this year’s board. As External Relations Manager, he is responsible for managing sponsorships and acquisitions, cultivating partnerships, and engaging with external organisations to strengthen United Netherlands’ network. In his role as PSP Executive, Daniel oversees the Public Speaking Programme. He also manages online promotion and content creation, upholding UNL’s brand across its platforms, to expand its visibility. Although not a former Delegate, Daniel has been closely involved with United Netherlands for over three years through various roles and collaborations, and he first joined the organisation as a participant in the PSP. Academically, he holds a Master’s degree in Global Political Economy and is currently pursuing a PhD position in this field. In his free time, Daniel channels his creativity into 3D printing and sculpting, enjoys working with his hands, and keeps himself going with plenty of coffee.

Meet our Academic Manager
Yara is the Academic Manager and Internal Relations Manager for this year. In her role as Academic Manager, Yara is in charge of maintaining the quality of the curriculum for all three of United Netherlands’ programs. Furthermore, she ensures that all the Delegates of the 23nd Delegation gain the skills and knowledge necessary to become outstanding MUNers, and to realize their greatest potential. As Internal Relations Manager, Yara ensures good communication within United Netherlands. Yara is currently studying European Law at the Radboud University. She was part of the 22nd delegation. In her free time she enjoys journaling and spending time with friends.

Meet our Vice-President!
Lizzie is the Vice President, Program Manager, and UNMD Executive of this year’s board. As Vice President, she supports the well-being of the board members. In her role as Program Manager, she oversees and coordinates the three programs and works closely with the executive teams to keep everything running smoothly. Additionally, she is directly responsible for the execution of logistical matters for the Delegation program as UNMD executive. Lizzie was part of the 22nd Delegation and is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Radboud University. She’s an avid coffee drinker, enjoys visiting art galleries and live music.

Why is being a Delegate so rewarding? Read Alexander`s story, an alumnus from the 22nd Delegation:
"As a multinational Global Law student, eager to better explore international legal frameworks in practice and deepen my connection to the work I do with the Next Humanitarians, I applied for the United Netherlands Delegation. Being selected as one of 30 delegates for the United Nations and Multilateral Diplomacy: Theory and Practice course has provided me with an exclusive opportunity to delve deeper into the workings of multilateral diplomacy and the role of the United Nations within it. Combining academic rigour, social entrepreneurship, and public speaking, the program has enabled me to apply my legal background and demonstrate acquired skills at the Oxford International, Dutch Invitational, and Harvard National MUN conferences.
The opportunity to engage in diplomatic debate on global issues in the heart of Oxford or Boston, alongside delegates from all corners of the world with diverse educational backgrounds, was eye-opening and reinforced my passion for (re)shaping global governance through international law. I can say with certainty that this experience is invaluable to anyone pursuing a career in international law or multilateral diplomacy. Ultimately, while the program has given me a wealth of knowledge and enriching experiences, the most precious takeaway is the long-lasting professional connections and friendships that one forms throughout."

Another year, another HSPMUN!
After months of preparation, 10 schools from across the Netherlands joined us in Nijmegen. Over 300 students put their debating skills into practice across 9 committees, discussing topics ranging from economics to history and social issues.
We were especially honored to welcome Felix Lomans as our keynote speaker – president of the 3rd board of United Netherlands and the person under whose leadership HSPMUN first came to life. We are proud that HSPMUN has been part of United Netherlands for nearly 20 years, and we hope it will continue to grow with each edition.
A big thank you to all participants, chairs, and teachers who made this conference possible. Congratulations to all award winners and see you next year!
