Hello everyone, I’m Maria Teresa. I study Behaviour Science at Radboud University. During my Master’s, I learned to come up with original ideas, support these ideas with scientific theories, and write them down in an academic paper. What I missed were the skills to present my ideas in front of a large crowd, defend them in debate, and lobby for support. As a Delegate of United Netherlands, I got to boost these skills. I became a more well-rounded academic. More importantly, I became a more confident person, got to see the U.K. and U.S.A., and met a lot of great people. Signing up for the Delegation was one of the best choices I made as a student.
